Variable port valve [VOR series]

Control valve that can easily change the valve capacity depending on the operating conditions

This variable port valve used as a rotary type control valve can control the flow rate by rotating the valve stem.
The sleeve combined with this valve stem can be moved so that the opening area of the port through which a fluid passes can be easily changed.
The opening area of the port can also be changed by rotating the valve stem.
The maximum flow is set by moving the sleeve and the optimum flow by rotating the valve stem.
In general, when fluid control is performed, the performance of the control valve determines the fluid controllability, and we have encountered the following problems in the past:

– The actual pressures before and after a control valve in use differ from the pressures in the design.
– For control valves, the Cv value is determined for each diameter, and it can only be selected in a step-by-step manner, making it difficult to select the optimum Cv value.
– The applicable flow range can be larger than the rangeability of the valve.

The variable port valve can solve all these problems.

Features

<Optimal control achievable because the Cv value is constantly and easily changeable onsite. >
<Wide rangeability allows flexible response to scaling changes in process quantities, etc. >
<The characteristic of Cv value is linear. >
