Flow Control Valve [FCV series]

Valve for controlling the flow rate at a constant level even with pressure fluctuation

A fluid flow rate remains constant if the opening degree of a valve installed along a pipeline is constant. However, the flow rate will change if any change is made in the pressure upstream (initial pressure) or downstream (service pressure) of the valve.

The flow control valve is self-operating and does not need a power source.
It is designed to ensure that the differential pressure before and after the variable orifice generated by the flow of a fluid (pressure difference between upstream and downstream sides) is applied to a piston or diaphragm film in establishing a balance with a setting spring.

The piston or the diaphragm film is connected to a built-in valve, and automatically adjusts the valve opening degree so that the differential pressure before and after the variable orifice is maintained at the same level as the set pressure, thus maintaining a constant flow rate.
The required flow rate is obtained by controlling the opening degree of the variable orifice.
Furthermore, the unique and novel self-operated control valve allows the flow to be adjusted with the same degree of opening, or the valve capacity to be easily changed through controlling the opening area of the variable orifice.
