SST

SST series rotates its operation axis to a position corresponding with the point which was commanded by instrumentation signal, 4 to 20mA from user’s operation panel.
In response to the needs of the steel industry, we have developed this series by upgrading the HOP series hydraulic actuator with solenoid operated selector valve to higher-speed, higher-accuracy and higher-torque actuator.
Compared with the jet pipe type, SST series can save running cost because of the structure which has less deterioration of operating oil and low maintenance work.

 

Features

• ＜High-speed and high-accuracy＞
  Operating speed is 5.5 [sec] (50Hz/60°) from fully open to fully closed.
  Hysteresis is 0.75%.
• ＜Easy to maintain＞
  Compared to the conventional jet pipe type, fewer parts are required, which makes this series easier to maintain.
  Fewer replacement parts are needed to be stocked.
• ＜Actuator with self-cleaning function for operating oil＞
  The filtration filter (8μ) incorporated in the line filter has a self-cleaning function, which makes the operating oil cleaner than when it is opened.
• ＜Energy saving by adopting unloaded circuit＞
  When positioning is completed, the pump comes into an unloaded state.
  This saves energy because the oil temperature rise is reduced (the hydraulic pressure is not constantly applied) and there is no waste of power.
• ＜Simple switching of operating direction＞
  The direction can be easily changed with the switch on the positioner and the opening signal can be reversed as well with the switch.
• ＜Operation angle selectable from three types at the time of shipment＞
  The operation angle can be selected from 60°, 80° and 90°.
  The operating direction can also be easily changed with a switch.
